FAQ

What investors ask us before signing

Short answers to the questions we hear most from FEC, retail and hospitality operators. If yours isn't here, write us. We reply within 24 hours.

At average traffic, payback typically lands between 6 and 12 months. The exact number depends on the location, footfall and the level of marketing support. Because we run a service model there are no extra operating costs like rent, staff or personnel overhead.

CAPEX includes the complete working system — hardware, delivery, calibration, operator training, the games library (6 titles for Arcade / 12 for MINI / 25 for FULL) and the licence to the supplied software for standard operation. The unit is designed for easy self-install based on a clear manual and a video walk-through. Final commissioning and calibration is done remotely by us.

The Arcade version is a one-off purchase — monthly OPEX is €0. You buy a finished working unit with no mandatory recurring fees. Any new games or software extensions can be offered separately as optional packs.

For MINI and FULL the monthly fee (OPEX) is €60 for MINI and €100 for FULL and covers the Support & Software package — the licence to the continuously updated software, regular updates, access to new games, remote monitoring and technical support. No hidden licences, no per-player fees.

Yes. The system runs fully automatically — it starts itself, rotates games without operator input and returns to attract mode between sessions. Every Pixel Floor is monitored remotely 24/7 and we resolve most issues remotely within minutes. For technical problems we run remote diagnostics and either fix the issue remotely on the spot, or ship spare parts for replacement. The goal is to minimise downtime and get the unit back online as fast as possible across the EU.

Installation is done by the customer using the supplied manual and video walk-through. We're available throughout the install, so we can step in remotely whenever needed. Final commissioning and calibration is done remotely by us.

Typical timing: Arcade 1–2 hours, MINI 4–6 hours and FULL 5–8 hours. For FULL the space needs to be prepared up-front according to the manual we send you. TVs and speakers are not part of the delivery.

Yes. Pixel Floor FULL is fully modular — the listed 4.2 × 5.4 m (252 tiles) is just the most common format, but we'll build any size and aspect ratio that fits the space. This is especially useful for Pixel centres, laser arenas and atypical installs. Send us a floor plan and we'll design the optimal tile layout.

Yes, Pixel Floor is built for indoor use with high footfall, including bright and busy locations. For different lighting conditions we offer two optimised display modes.

Dark mode — for standard indoor lighting, where it leans on colour and contrast for a visually punchy effect. Light mode — for very bright spaces, where maximum brightness and content legibility matter most.

The unit is designed for high mechanical durability with a load rating of 500 kg / tile, so it runs safely in commercial and public spaces. Note that extremely intense or direct sunlight can hurt the contrast — we therefore recommend indoor installs or covered zones with controlled lighting.

Yes, we're happy to arrange a visit at one of our reference venues. We have smaller game centres on hand as well as larger installations in laser arenas, shopping centres and hotels. We can usually set up a tour within a week — the best way to verify build quality, system functionality and real-world operation in person.

Yes. For festivals, brand activations, corporate events and roadshows we offer short-term rental including transport, install and technical supervision. We can also adapt the game content — including branding, colour palette and visual style to match your brand identity. We recommend booking dates 6–8 weeks in advance.

We offer several models of cooperation depending on the type of project. The standard option is a direct purchase, where the customer owns the complete solution and operates it on their own.

For selected projects we also offer a revenue-share partnership, where the unit is funded and operated jointly and the operating revenue is split based on a pre-agreed model. We use this approach mainly for strategic locations with high traffic potential.

We assess every project individually so the commercial model is optimal for both sides.

Every Pixel Floor tile is CE-certified and designed for continuous commercial operation:

  • Dimensions: 300 × 300 × 75 mm
  • Material: ABS frame + 10 mm tempered glass
  • LED: RGB full colour · DC 24 V · 7.2 W per tile
  • Load capacity: 500 kg per tile
  • Ingress protection: IP65 / IP67 (dust- and water-resistant)

A full datasheet is available on request — useful for project documentation, hygiene audits and insurance.

The floor can be activated in several ways:

  • through the web app
  • using an on-site kiosk
  • automatically after payment via a payment terminal

The solution can be tailored to the specific venue and how visitors are served.

Payment for an activity can work in several ways depending on the chosen operating model:

  • at reception or with staff (for example when activating via the web app or kiosk)
  • via a payment terminal
  • by contactless payment
  • using a coin acceptor

The system supports both attended and fully self-service operation.
